It was meant as a rhetorical question. But if I were pressed into answering it myself, I would lean toward the possibility that it does not ever truly end. At least until the Creator decides to eliminate about 1/3 of its early creations as well as untold ?illions of their minions in all of creation. Then the question would be "Could it all start over again due to "free will". Some of the best and brightest minds seem to be so over eager to do what they will no matter the possible consequences. Almost as if they have some sort of "GOD" complex that compels them to their actions.
