The world has moved too far to the left, claims Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon | The forefather of punk slammed liberals for advocating mass immigration and destroying working-class values in favor of “fashionable elitism”
... Speaking to the German newspaper Die Welt, Lydon, also known by his former stage name Johnny Rotten, accused liberal elites of equating regulated migration with racism, explaining that people are afraid to speak out over fears of being called racist. ...
... The man who co-wrote Sex Pistols hit, ‘God Save The Queen,’ also reserved some criticism for the British monarchy, and in particular King Charles III who he described as “not the brightest on this planet”. “I’m afraid he’ll wreak havoc once he gets involved in world politics,” Lydon told the German newspaper, accusing the monarch of “desperately trying to curry favor with the Woken”. ...
... He has previously expressed his loathing of dogmas, insisting that human beings should think more for themselves and not be led by authority or social trends. ...
His wife got dementia and he nursed her to the end; shows he's got good character.
Seems he has pretty good political judgement, too.

...only the "masters"...
...howls...
...I went to see them in San Antonio in 1979 at a cowboy bar with chicken wire in front of the stage named "Randy's Rodeo"...
...they came on stage and started playing, needless to say the clientele did not appreciate the "concept" the band was putting forth and began throwing Lone Star bottles and epithets...
...the band stopped playing and John Lydon screamed at the crowd, "fuck you all you bunch of faggot cock suckers" and walked off the stage...
...end of concert....
...the best 6 bucks I ever spent in my life...

Dang, you were there?
Lydon is a treasure. Sure he’s a tad short fused but he has a heart of gold and deep down integrity. I’ve read both of his autobiographies and they show what a true free thinker he is.
His most recent book, as in 2013-recent or so, had become one of my favorite books, that I can go back to over and over again. His 1994 book is quite good as well. A person could enjoy these books without even necessarily knowing any of his music, in fact, he has plenty of other things to talk about! A new documentary has hit youtube (with ads) and is very, very good. Sadly, he recently lost his wife Nora after caring for her the last 6-7 years
