I don't know you can say the rubble wasn't gargantuan. The pile was several stories high in parts and the rubble was spread out over acres.
The scale of the WTC made them super hard to wrap your head around or to photograph.
WTC 1 and 2 fell into a wide plaza....crushing other buildings. There was also like 6 subterranean levels and a subway station that filled up with debris. Two cops were rescued under what described as 30 feet of debris.
My ex worked the pile. It was huge....talk to people w demo experience that actually worked the pile..it acts like an ice shove..weight and drop velocity push the mass out at the bottom. So it spreads out lessening the height of the pile. My good friends cousin was Capt Jonah. From stairwell B miracle. This wasnt atypical demo until you get to the dem sprites that started the pancaking of floors. They can be seen by anyone w minimal experience in demo on the videos. I've posted a great documentary I saw in may ev2016. Scientists tested air debris samples and identified military grade Nano Thermite. That makes it military aka our own government. Nobody else could get that and have all these things fall into place . Another magic bullet.
Yeah, I don't think people understand how wide an area was affected. The plaza at the WTC covered several acres with several other buildings affected.
The outer walls of the buildings peeled away like a falling ladder once the interior supports were gone. This went across the entire plaza and across city streets hitting buildings not in the plaza. West street was blocked off, it was one the first areas to be cleared.
I disagree this was a demolition. I started taking a long look at this after the WTC 7 started going around. I believed that, but then researched this and found a lot of deception in those documentaries (Loose Change? that was the name right?)
Reasons I disagree it was a demolition.
At first they said it was a regular controlled demolition.
Couple of problems. The shape charges they use to cut steel are insanely loud. You can't make them quiet and still cut steel. The relation ship is proportional. More power. More noise. The core columns at the WTC would have been the thickest steel ever attempted. The noise would have been heard in Brooklyn and NJ.
Controlled demolitions also happen after months of weakening the building. They precut the supports and put linear charges into the cuts. If you don't do this, you weaken the effect of the linear charges. This work of weakening the building is dirty, noisy and smelly, they use torches to cut into the steel.
Controlled demolitions also leave a ton of evidence in the pile. Blasting caps and miles of detonation cords. The teams clearing the pile had demolition experience and would have seen this.
This is why they came up with **the thermite theory **because it would be quieter.
This seems plausible at first, but the more you look into thermite, there's giant problems.
Thermite also leaves tons of evidence. Literally tons. Thermite being powered metal is super heavy and lot of it would be needed. The evidence thermite leaves is blobs of melted metal called slag. Thermite reactions basically take iron oxide (rust is a form of iron oxide) ....pull out all the oxygen...and make aluminum oxide. Pure aluminum is unstable and aluminum oxide is not. It's this transfer of oxygen that generates all the heat. At the end you start with two kinds of powdered metal and end with two kinds of slag or melted metal. You can see slag here in this video.
So thermite itself leaves evidence AND there would be evidence on the steel. You would see evidence like this with irregular patterns or swiss cheese effect
The steel from 9/11 was examined by the Structural Engineers Association of New York. They went to ground zero and to the scrapyards looking for evidence. They found mangled and bent steel, not melted steel or steel with swiss cheese like holes in it. Or steel that was blasted apart like from explosives.
Scientists tested air debris samples and identified military grade Nano Thermite.
I know this example very well. They claim to find thermite, but for years have resisted the simple test to prove they had a thermitic material. Thermite is a self sustaining reaction. It can burn underwater, because it's has it's own oxygen source.....the oxygen in iron oxygen. So there's a very simple test, they can do. Put the the dust samples in an a oxygen free environment....like under pure nitrogen and see if you can make it burn. If it doesn't burn you surely don't have thermite.
Also when other people examined this dust they noticed something very important. There was no pure aluminum. Aluminum is the unstable element that gives thermite it's power because it wants to bond with oxygen thus you need iron oxide (or copper oxide or something else, there's a few different recipes.) You need elemental aluminum and there's none of this dust they examined. There is, however, aluminum silicate. Aluminum already bonded with Silicon and thus a stable element. Aluminum silicate is also known as China Clay and is used in paint. It's also, I just found out, used in clay masks for your skin and can be bought on Amazon.
It's not an ingredient of thermite.
Thermite is also super, super bright. It would have lit up the smoke cloud. Unlike what some people claim thermite was used in a demolition before. The Sky Tower at the Chicago World's Fair was taken down by thermite. They wanted it to fall in a certain direction, so they melted one side of it. They used 1,500 pounds of thermite in each spot they needed to melt a simple fair ride.
(imagine how much the WTC would have needed.) Local newspapers said the glow was visible over a mile away.
This is why I stopped thinking it was a demoltion.
And where was the rubble pile that should have been absolutely gargantuan? I mean it was big, but not nearly big enough
The towers were not powderifed.
The buildings......like most buildings contained an enormous amount of powder.
Anyone familiar with construction knows that offices have tons of gypsum in them. It the stuff used to make chalk and drywall
There's a dry wall company called American Gypsum.

This is the last column cut down from ground zero

It was still standing 8 months after they started hauling debris away.
