what about certain homes remaining makes it conclusively DEWs? I could easily attribute it to having money = having better fire resistant homes or actively protecting it with high end firefighting tech. I'm not against having these scum be exposed but to link it to DEWs and then later have it come out that it wasnt DEWs will cause everybody who initially latched onto the other truths in the claims to reject it all and not be so easy to reach with other truths next time.
