2. The Mountain Dew brand soda has been around for literally 83 years. Long before electronics, and as such any Directed Energy Weapon.
3. The words 'mountain dew' have been around for much longer than even that. There is an Irish song that refers to that phrase that was written in 1883. In 1928, 'mountain dew' was put into a more Southern USA folk song.
4. What if the so-called DEW was instead called an Orbital Energy Weapon...or a Focused Energy Weapon...or a Laser Energy Weapon? Would we be looking for sodas called Mountain OEW or Mountain FEW or Mountain LEW? Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and not everything under the sun are comms.

We have to be better if we really want to red pill the normies. We absolutely can be better with almost no extra effort. We just need to exercise the common sense that we claim to have.
