I do consider myself quite proficient in mastering English (not my native language), but the word "drop" always stumps me.

Depending on the context, the use of "drop" can mean something like "taken off the board" or "removed", but it can also be used as "be revealed". Quite the opposite meanings, and I'm often confused... ;)
