Purk my fren it really amazes me how someone might think that the same corrupt judicial system that fostered the fake charges through the indictment phase, now that the defendants are "in the dock' are suddenly going to stop being corrupt and allow the defendants to present their case in a fair way.
Fairness was not a factor in indictment, fairness will play no part in trial. This is not about a conviction that will withstand appeal or even conviction at all. This is a tactic designed to keep Trump for being a viable candidate.
Is it possible that they actually think they can put so much pressure on Trump that like any normal person would do he will just throw his hand up and say, "Guys, I tried my best, but I can't take the pressure anymore, and am withdrawing from the race?" Sometimes i think they believe Trump will just falter under the pressure, fall apart, and quit. That ain't likely to happen, in fact he very likely to get stronger under the pressure.

Perhaps "Fani" gets to recuse herself?
