A Maui resident has told several news outlets “the water shut off” while he and other members of the Maui community were battling fires.

What boggles me is I bring all this info to my conservative friends and one says that it was 100% electrical fire that started it and gives me crap for me for not believing that and questioning that theory. Another friend on the no water issue says power runs the pumps. I informed him that there is multiple back up power solutions for fire hydrants. My question is after all this crap we went through they still don’t question everything!
