That actually makes a helluva lot of sense. Trump was a real estate developer in NYC - he of all people would have had to deal with certain "families" who control unions and a lot of the trades. I have no doubt said families charged "consultation" fees for things like building permits, helped builders "choose" union labor, and whole litany of other rackets and shakedowns.
I don't get this whole affair at all. I would have thought the LAST thing the dems would want is a re-airing of the 2020 election and to give Trump a massive platform via show trial. And why Rudy? Why such a flimsy, weak case against a man who is an expert in RICO? Are the dems that scared and desperate? Or something else at work here?
