When the Texas democrats indicted House Majority Leader Rep. Tom DeLay for money laundering, they were going to embarrass him with the Mug Shot ploy. He turned the tables on them by showing up dressed to the nines and smiling from ear to ear. He distributed the photo far and wide. Turned out to be a real plus for him.
