What would local communities do to fill the void if Walmart were gone?
They'd have to start lots of various, small businesses, which would create better paying jobs. Products would no longer be made from the cheapest items possible, so the quality would probably go up. Might even spark a "Made in the USA" movement, which would create even more jobs.
