For the children whose brothers and / or sisters were aborted, survivor's guilt is unbearable! "Mommy, why didn't you kill me too? Why am I alive?"
Oh the "wanted child' of the pro-abort woman's choice!!, is but the survivor of a crime that could have been visited on him too! And he, the child KNOWS THAT!
The more children aborted, the more children with survivors' guilt. We cannot use them and we would not in the legitimate battle to show the evil of abortion.
But they know, in the most horrible and painful way. They know, they were as good as DEAD but for the WHIM of their own mothers! How much more horrible of a reality could there be for an innocent child "allowed" to be born into a family, when others could not be born into that family, just why and just when did the whim change to "allow" this child, but not the other(s) ?
No justice, the father had no say . . . If these shocked children, if THEY speak out, and they should, they really should . . . otherwise their suffering is as dead as their aborted siblings to the world.
I've always shared the pro-life side of the issue to our sons, but the younger one seemed to think that pregnancies from rape/incest should be able to be aborted. One day he called me to tell me about a woman my age that he met whose mother was raped and intended to abort. The pregnant girl met someone who took her in and cared for her until the baby was born and placed for adoption. This is the woman that he met and she told him about her birth mother and her 5 children and many grandchildren. He never thought about all those who would never exist if the child was aborted. I thanked God for giving him that example.
