I learned how to roll fall in my 20’s when I owned a rank horse — I still instinctively fall that way now that I’m 70 — only fell once so far cause of swiffer wet area and cane but — no injury and was able to get right back up — we all really need to go back to not seeing docs etc like humans lived a mere 80-100 years ago — figure this crap out and most of my great grandparents/ uncles / aunts lived into their 90’s actively— their freaking dogs and cats had no pet food— lived on scraps and no vaccinations unless maybe rabies which was required in the 20’s in some states — my dad’s dog ( circa 1924-1941 ) spitz/ poodle cross lived to be 17 with no vaccinations unless maybe rabies and no dog food only scraps— people we need to get back to this — all of my ancestors lived to be old and didn’t die of cancer — yes a rural life with hard work/ fresh grown food and very little entertainment or “ pleasure” but they were happy and God loving
God gave us all we need in nature. Working the land gave you exercise. No electric lights meant you went to bed early and got up early.
Ain’t Little House on the Prairie anymore— we are not much above the serfs of old these days — so sad — but always in a long enough time line ...
Amen
One of the greatest psyops on the public was convincing the public that “people food” was bad for dogs.
What did dogs eat before commercial “dog food”? People food.
What do they make “dog food” from today? People food. (Yes, I know about the offal and renderings they use in dog food.).
Point is…feed your dog people food. Well-balanced, cook/steam your own canine recipes are easy to find.
My dog has only seen a vet 2 maybe 3 times. She eats mostly scraps. Shes doing just fine at 10 years old.
