We have a 2nd home in a very small Mississippi town. I was having a conversation with my neighbor and I asked well what's the latest news around town. He answered "the number of funerals". I said "what"? He said he's never attended so many funerals of family and friends. It seems like there's one every week now. How old are the folks dying I asked? He said they were "too young to die". They were in their 40s, 50s & 60s. Sad because I believe I know what the common denominator is!

Yes I believe it's considered a Red State. But there are big pockets of blue such as Jackson, MS. I think the main problem is the tel-lie-vision. Even Red State dwellers watch and believe just about anything they see on TV.
