There is absolutely a way. They will just wire everything over ethernet months in advance so observant poll watchers won't see a bunch of wires being connected. If they aren't using wifi it won't capture the devices.
Then it will be obvious to spot the Ethernet cables sticking out of the machines so how could they try to say they aren't online? I don't think they even have Ethernet ports by law which is why they had to hide WiFi cards deep in the hardware.
