I know I got tired of the 'black hat? white hat? gray hat?' stuff early on so I found a solution. I quit giving a crap. I mean, I'm not writing this movie or directing it, so why not just sit back and enjoy it? I'm talking about stuff beyond our control of course, not local stuff we can do ourselves.

We've (generic we, to include the normies) been shown that the Dem party is crooked, now we are finding out that the GOP is full of backstabbing thieves as well, so that's Congress. Also, instead of figuring the Executive branch largely goes the way of whomever is President, we have been shown that the entire Executive branch apparatus (which includes the alphabet agencies and cabinet positions) is contaminated with Deep Staters, Commies, crooks and puppets. So that leaves the Judicial branch and that's starting to be exposed too IMHO. It might take a while yet and I bet it won't be pretty.

I don't know if it helps, but the New Testament talks a lot about having hope. It's a great thing and we all need it. I understand what you are saying about 'hopium' though because we get that by wanting theories to come true and they often don't. I just go with what POTUS says, "Let's see what happens". Remember there are more good than bad, fren, and put your hope in God...we know he wins in the end.
