Well, while that may be true, this being was once born human (I’ve assumed) and was subsequently taken over by the demons that infested it. If there’s a kernel of a soul left in this thing, as small as a mustard seed, I’m hoping that a long stint in prison may give it enough time for introspection and, against all odds, that soul can embrace Jesus and find the strength to face the demons and exorcise them, grow into a decent human being, he or she. I’m reminded of Luke 8:26-39.
