As long as u tried to pay at least minimum payment for 5yrs and depend and still having difficulty then it is time to file bankruptcy. And best to be your own lawyer.
Because for my case when I check w lawyer and he said he charge $100k and no guarantee of winning so better on your own…
How long since you did it? Any complications?
While research about bankruptcy, most would said 99.99% impossible for student loans, easier for credit card of medical…
My debt was student loan and my parent phone bill add up…
That’s why I always try to tell Biden supporters should just declare bankruptcy instead of voting him because they want student loan cleared
Just pray and ask God for help, and have believe and have faith that one deserve debt free and start new life…
So beside my parents, I think even the judge, 2 defendants lawyers were helping me in ways… Not that complicated, just need to show lawyers and judge my 10years credit card bill, one of the lawyer tried really hard not to laugh as I paid $15 for couple months (my debt went up to $150k w interests) , and complain that I still watch movie and buy clothes (just Old Navy on sale w reward) but the church let me pass and said those r just “necessary” in life and my judge don’t believe I am big spender and buy luxury type of person…
One of the key is my city is even if u make $100k a year, without a house, u r still consider “low income”…
I thought it would be done within 1year, but it end up taking 1.5 years… the waiting process is hard (emotionally).
My case end then pandemic… I was supposed to work harder but end up study hard on our great awakening
I also add therapist records, don’t need to try to lie or pretend anything… just speak your truths
Plus most important of all, don’t feel guilt or shame as it won’t help (energy wise) … this part could be hardest as most cultures we r in r taught supposed to paid off your own or even your parents debts …
