It isn't. At least, it's currently less than 1°C per century - assuming that no major volcanic eruption causes massive cooling (again), in which case the "warming" will actually become cooling.

As I stated, the warming is currently estimated at less than one degree PER CENTURY and that could be reversed by a bit more cloud cover (or "geoengineering"), a volcanic eruption, a polar shift or a tiny change in the sun's output. In other words it's a prediction based on current trends only. A couple of decades ago they were predicting global cooling. The climate is naturally chaotic so an accurate prediction can never be guaranteed.
