Even as someone who considers the term 'DEW' to be a huge red flag.... I have to admit the possibility that they no longer use ground-based technology to start fires, and that DEW could be correct terminology for whatever they are using.
here's a question: we know they play the long game. and we know they were not subtle about spreading DEW theories back in the day to undermine the credibility of 911 researchers.
could that have served the double purpose of having future pedes dismiss evidence of actual energy weapons? they did choose to use a real term, although actual dew tech was probably much more rudimentary back then.
