I know as much as you which is nothing certain. We have seen weapons target cell phones and vaporize bad guys. The smart meters could serve the same purpose as your phone. The cell/meter could be a target for the weapon to hit. Prove me wrong or shout me down. You'll have more luck focusing on the first option
