Twitter/X/Musk - a theory
💭 Theory 💡
Everyone knows that if they take away our media we just build new ones to replace them with, ones they aren't in control of.
So, what if...Elon was tasked with taking over Twitter and allowing conservatives a voice again, thus voiding the need to build a new platform, but then just before the next election pull the rug once more, leaving no time to develop an effective counter?
Evidence that vax and election stuff is being throttled and not just people posting "NI**ER NI**ER NI**ER NI**ER NI**ER NI**ER NI**ER"?
Deleting info is one thing, and while deleting the other also isn't adhering to free speech, it is hardly the end of the world in comparison.
What normies would stick around to see the vax info or election info if their timeline was filled with that shit anyway? They wouldn't block or mute, they would just leave when all the valid Jew posts, invalid Jew posts, and/or actual racist shit become common place.
That isn't evidence, it's a hypothesis.
Maybe more bots are being deleted revealing the true engagement numbers. Maybe these people aren't as popular as they once were for other reasons, and it just so happens to have coincided with the new CEO. Coincidences DO happen, the problem is when coincidence is the explanation for everything, not when coincidence is applied properly and considered as a possibility.
And let me guess, not every conservative has had decreases in engagement? No, it's some of them experiencing this, and the ones who aren't are still spreading plenty of truth.
For example, BioClandestine is frankly an Elon shill. He sings his praises all the time. And despite constantly posting content revealing the truth in Ukraine and Russia, he hasn't complained about engagement as far as I'm aware.
Some people also just like to play victim and cry, even on the conservative side. And did the new CEO censor these accounts on day one? But maybe I'm just reading too far into "since she took over".
And meanwhile, super-based shit is trending daily with people on both sides posting about it. Usually people revealing truth and good insights vs the crazy lefties crying about trends.
This Twitter bad shit is a fantasy, at least right now. Time will tell if it will actually go bad, but currently it's a straw grasp to claim Twitter is firmly bad or even good. I'd say it trends good, but at worst it trends bad. There's no hard answer.
