I don't think so. This idea that we are so ineffectual there is no way we could destroy a planet with lasting effects is actually asinine. If the whole planet turned to desert because we can't keep enough forests from being destroyed by ourselves then we would be pretty well fucked wouldn't we? And it would be our fault for cutting everything down would it not?
