A Trustee of the board of an org that wants you to eat zee bugs and nothing. Think about what you are eating and feeding your pets.
We adopted a 6-month-old purebred Pomeranian from a family that was moving and claimed they couldn't take her. I bought the specific food they said they fed her, but she would not eat it nor any other dog food we presented. She was a wreck and so distressed being in a strange home without her family. We kept trying different brands but with no success.
After 3 days, I offered her baked chicken that I had cooked. She ate ravenously. After that, I fed her exactly what we ate and she got fed first! Chicken, roast beef, steak, fish, vegetables, rice, salad, even fruit. Her bowl was on the floor next to our dinner table. Over the years I'd bring home a new kind of dog food and offer it to her. She'd always sniff it and turn away. Once she ate a Mighty Dog canned 'beef' and then vomited.
We went back to feeding her our good food. She was the most beautiful dog with thick, fluffy fur, clear eyes and clean breath. She lived to be 14.
