Today I doubt they feel anything of the sort. They are enjoying life at the highest level, their god has showered them with unimaginable wealth and absolute power, and as a result they have the hubris of the utterly impervious.
Really, why would they feel nervous, when they own everything and have been able to literally get away with murder and worse (his name is still Seth Rich) with absolutely no repercussions so far?
IMHO this makes their impending doom all the more glorious: It will suddenly explode their skulls like a freight train loaded with 17 tons of bricks.
The only time I ever tried it was around 2000 and I was in Amsterdam in the Grasshopper Cafe. I was very paranoid, and then the cops came in. That jacked my paranoia to an 11, but the cops just looked around, smiled and nodded to anyone that made eye contact, and left. The bartender said they drop in to make sure nothing gets out of hand.
Odd thing is - the paranoia made me more high. I don't know if it had anything to do with the adrenaline hit or what, but it was really weird.
I slightly disagree. Yes, they haven't had to own up to their crimes YET. They know it's coming though and this is why they have upped the ante with Trump being arrested multiple times. They KNOW that they can't beat him and that no matter how loud they scream that the election was secure, people on both sides of the political isle will be watching a lot more closely this time. Couple this in with his support consistently increasing every time he is arrested. So, my opinion is that they are sweating bullets and have to throw everything they have at the wall to see what sticks.
The hubris and narcissism leaves them completely disconnected from reality. Just like they never thought she’d lose. They do not think they will ever be caught and answer for their crimes.
They think they’ve won already…

I concur. They think they've won this they are not trembling
Have you ever been high on cannabis and paranoid the cops will catch you? The paranoia ruins the high.
I doubt they are all happily living the life, maybe some, but not all...
I tried it once or twice in college many moons ago, and I remember laughing uncontrollably at stupid shit and downing a couple of bags of Doritos.
