Behold me, my beloved Jesus, weighed down under the burden of my trials and sufferings I cast myself at Thy feet that Thou mayest renew my courage and my strength while I rest here in thy Presence. Permit me to lay down my cross in Thy Sacred Heart, for only Thy infinite goodness can sustain me, only Thy Iove help me to bear my cross, only Thy powerful hand lighten its weight.
O my divine King Jesus, whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted. I wish to live in Thee, and die invoking Thee. Be to me, during my life, my model and my support; at the hour of my death be my hope and my refuge.

Thank you fren, that's wonderful and timely for where I'm at.
"there are no coincidences in God's plan" :)
Praying for you where you're at. We're so blessed to have so many brothers and sisters here standing together in God's grace.
Love this. Maybe someone here needs to hear it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qzoGOZFqqbI
Love you all. Maybe someone here needs to hear that too. No linky though, you're going to have to take my word.
AMEN. +++
What a beautiful prayer! But please tell me the author -- I don't understand the citation.
This is a prayer card from my Grandmother's bible, who is originally from Montreal. The imprimatur reference is for Bishop Anastase Forget.

Oh, what a wonderful man!
I've copied out the prayer for my own daily use. Your Grandmother's bible is such a precious treasure to have!
Mimiere was so amazing, and yes, her bible is so special. I am so thankful for God's gift of faith, and for my grandparents and parents who showed me how to live my faith.

Amen.
I've gotten into the habit of offering my pains to the Lord in reparation. When I do I notice the pain immediately stops. This will sound odd but there were times I asked Him not to remove the pain because I want to offer it for reparation. Then I understand there will be other pains to offer.
Amen @Halya! As my grandmother taught me - offer it up! Offer up the good and the bad to God, just as Jonas said. Even Jesus told us to listen to Jonas!
"And said: Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away: as it hath pleased the Lord so is it done: blessed be the name of the Lord." [Job 1:21]
"Who answering said to them: An evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign: and a sign shall not be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet." [Matthew 12:39]
