Have you seen those creepy organ donor "Honor Walk" videos on YouTube? It's when they're wheeling the patient to the "organ procurement" facility and all the health care workers line the hallways to honor the person, who, is STILL ALIVE!!! Creepy as hell.

Amen. You're always in my prayers. And I kind of like the short and sweet prayer.

I'm sorry, I have no medical background whatsoever to advise you on your diet. However, I don't have my peperwork with me right now but I could swear TSH 4.9 was just at the high end of the normal range. Were you having low thyroid symptoms (weight gain, fatigue, sensitivity to cold, thinning hair, etc.) before you went on the Levothyroxine?

Your family will be in my prayers.

You know I have a weird theory about the low thyroid. I spend a good portion of the day with my head cocked forward--on the computer, on the phone, etc. I'm wondering if that position puts pressure on my thyroid gland due to my neck being compressed. My other theory is that I had accidental exposure to Methimazole which is what one of my cats takes for HYPERthyroidism. I started being extra careful with that after my high TSH finding last year.

Thanks! Please tell me more about the D3/K2 ratio. My Vitamin D tested at 61 this year, it was 69 last year. I take 50,000 IU D3 once a week, and then I get 800 IU D3 with a calcium supplement I take. I take 100 mcg K2 daily. I have osteopenia so I am concerned about getting calcium to my bones. I also drink milk so get about 500 mg per day and my calcium supplement is 1000 mg.

I'm taking the calcium and vitamin D because I have osteopenia and I'm trying to reverse it. Vitamin K is also supposed to help with absorption of those two. That's interesting about the magnesium glycinate--I do have trouble sleeping because of night sweats. I'll research the Superwoman blend too.

I take calcium, vitamin D, vitamin K and the kelp, all as separate pills. I do wonder though, one of my cats (I'm one of those childless cat ladies JD Vance talks about, lol, except I'm for Trump all the way) anyway, one of my cats takes a transdermal gel for HYPERthyroidism, and I was kind of lackadaisical about washing my hands after I gave it to him, although I wore finger protectors and it comes out of a pen so getting it on my finger was highly unlikely. But after last November, when I had the high TSH score, I started being diligent about washing my hands with soap and water after I gave it to him. But I really think it's the kelp (iodine) that helped.

Good to know. I plan to keep taking the kelp (iodine) supplement anyway.

Thanks for the insight. Yes I'm already planning to go low carb (right now I'm basically a carb junkie) and focus on real food.

I do 16/8--5 p.m. to 9 a.m. It eliminated my prime snacking time which was in the evening.
