Being dangerous is a pretty arbitrary thing, at this point. Even in regards to the founders of the country, they were dangerous in many ways. Not just in terms of force, but diplomatically. Geographically. They had the advantage of not even needing to use as much force as they would have. They made agreements, won a game of numbers, and had a vast ocean between North America and the seat of the empire that made control nearly impossible. It was a foregone conclusion. In point of fact, I fully believe that there is a parallel one could draw as a force embedded within a country can tear it down.
Thoughts can be dangerous -- not in the ways that the left tries to say, of course, but the power that can be wielded by intelligent and charismatic men willing to make tough decisions is nearly insurmountable by other men.
