Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Death still reigns in old Adam. Faith in the redemption is the Christian faith,
Jesus Christ saves us, makes us whole, frees us from the bondage of corruption.
While we look to Trump, the Whitehats and Q for action, comms etc, it’s very important to remind ourselves this one thing. No man or group of men can overcome this demonic assault across our planet unless divinely assisted. Jesus Christ is ultimately the one and only truth that leads us out of this situation.
Amen! HalleluJAH! Pray for the lost while we still can. Our blessed hope is soon to come.
Amen!
I asked youbot to help me understand Romans 5:17 in the KJV.
Here's the result:
Romans 5:17 in the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible states: "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one [1][8], Jesus Christ."
This verse is a part of the larger passage in Romans 5 that discusses the concept of justification and the work of Jesus Christ. To understand Romans 5:17, it is helpful to consider the context of the surrounding verses.
The Context of Romans 5
In Romans 5, the Apostle Paul explains how through the sin of Adam, sin and death entered the world, affecting all humanity. However, Paul emphasizes that through the work of Jesus Christ, grace and righteousness are made available to all who believe in Him.
Understanding Romans 5:17
In Romans 5:17, Paul contrasts the effects of Adam's sin with the effects of Christ's righteousness. He states that if death reigned through the offense of one man (Adam), then those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through Jesus Christ [8]. This verse highlights the contrast between the consequences of Adam's sin and the blessings that come through faith in Christ.
Key Points of Romans 5:17
Theological Significance
Romans 5:17 highlights the theological concept of the "great exchange." Through Adam, humanity inherited sin and death, but through faith in Jesus Christ, believers receive grace, righteousness, and eternal life. This verse emphasizes the transformative power of Christ's work and the abundant blessings that believers receive through their union with Him.
It is important to note that this is a brief summary of Romans 5:17 in the King James Version. The full meaning and theological implications of this verse can be further explored through Bible study, commentary, and discussion within a Christian community.
That's pretty good and true, only by faith do we gain the life Jesus Christ brings.
Our living savior is in us through the Holy Spirit and this is life, and liberty from dead Adam.
Release from the bondage of corruption one soul at a time.
Here’s a mind blowing thought. What if the deep state decided thousands of years ago to create an invisible entity with a set of rules for the world to follow. These rules and entity would keep people content for their years on Earth. Anyone not agreeing to the rules would offer a slight change to the rules and then create their own splinter group while still following this invisible entity. I know I will take a lot of heat for this, but my beliefs are laughed upon because I do not follow the narrative.
Hey Adopted: What if the Bible is true, and you are facing God's wrath for all of eternity when you die?
Repent or perish.
That’s like saying Cinderella is true. The stories in the Bible can be found in the Sumerian tablets. The big discussion here is people here are saying Christianity is right. Never mind any other religion, albeit Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, etc.
With all the religions out there, you have decided the Bible is the proper religion. Good luck.
What makes you think you're going to take heat?
You're not far off from a spiritual interpretation of Revelation, Babylon is a secret power and it has been since the fall of Adam.
The fall of Babylon happens in individual lives and on occasion collectively. I believe we are watching a fall of Babylon, it's pretty exciting, Q might liken it to The Great Awakening.
I don’t believe in Adam, but I believe in Adamu
Never heard of Adamu.........is that something I should google?
:)
Adamu was the first homo sapien made by Enki and his half sister Nimah. They cloned their dna with the dna from homo erects to create him. This is all in the Sumerian Cuneiform tablets.
And that is your faith? Or you prefer to have no faith? You seem like you're are sure the Christian faith has no merit. I enjoy talking about what people actually believe. I wouldn't condemn you for not believing the Christian faith, but I'd like like to know what you do believe.
I'm not worried about your soul suffering for all eternity, my faith doesn't include an eternal hell either, for me faith in Jesus Christ is for life in the present moment.
Including the bondages and corruption of Christian Authoritarianism!
The difference between modern day woke and the Christian influence of the 90's? Literally ideology. The behaviors are the same. The piss poor attitudes are the same. The cancel culture is the same. Thanks McCarthy!
Totally agree.
Great point.
The second beast from out of the earth is a religious system that looks like the Lamb, but has the voice of the dragon.
