Clothe you response with clear statements about your care and concern for these precious kids. Educate, yes. Alienate, no. Let her know things you have been learning and where you learned them so there is context. May your words be covered with the power and protection of God.
Pray for God's guidance, then speak up...Speak the truth- many people are lost when it comes to symbol's and words and even vaccines- share your knowledge... don't let a loved one jump off the cliff, without KNOWING.. then if they jump, at least you did your part-

Depending on how receptive your SIL may be and your age difference etc. you could share the info like inside info you just learned recently yourself if you’re afraid of alienating her. Sounding preachy or teachy prob not the best approach in my experience.
Are you wanting to educate SIL? Because if not just return it, she doesn’t even need to know. Get store credit.

Considering she has my 1 year old nephew and a baby girl otw, I do want to at least educate her
