If power really was turned off, how would the houses have been streaming it to the cloud? Those doorbells still rely on your home Internet they're not cellular.
Mine works with no power. It has a battery that the doorbell slow trickle charges it. It does attach to wifi but would it still record even tho it couldn’t send out what it was recording?
We had a fire near our home and they did shut off our power. I guess it's a precautionary measure. But, it wasn't two hours before, but we also hadn't had it burning for long already. So, for me, the power is the least concerning thing about the whole situation.

Not all models, so reasonably speaking at least one person should have had footage taken by their RING, considering how popular they are.
Blink cameras are battery. Now whether or not it would not get pushed to the cloud is another story but you would thin there was something
Good points

I thought they turned off the water and left the power on? Hard to have any idea what's true anymore.
