ALL Presidents are addressed as "President", even after they leave office. It's an etiquette and protocol issue.
Have you never noticed that Obama and Clinton and Bush and Carter (and every other former President) are all referred to as "President" whenever they're mentioned?
Do you think that they're all still the sitting President because they're called President?
I'm not trying to be mean, but it's concerning that so many people seem to be completely ignorant about basic civics topics. This is stuff that is taught in middle school.
That's not a formal document created by the White House or federal government, either. That's a form that his personal lawyer created. Just because his personal lawyer is ignorant of (or willfully ignored) the protocol surrounding the use of the title " President," does not give Trump any special powers or status because the term is typed out under the signature line there.
