The PKU test every infant gets at birth stores a blood dna sample at state level in every state. They've done this for decades. If you were born in a hospital since the 1950's they already have your dna on file. Homebirth your kids.
Yeah and it’s a felony to refuse it. Which is total bullshit
I home-birthed my son and told my midwife I didn't want it. Also told her what they do with it, she had no idea. Gave her all the proof so she could educate more of her clients. I also let her know there was no reason for us to have it since we already knew we weren't genetic carriers of the disease they use as an excuse to collect it. I hadn't heard of it being a felony, I definitely had no issues with refusing it, but again, I gave birth at home.
