The media has sucked even going back to Walter Cronkite. The usual crap. Sensationalism, one-sided views, blatant bias, conveniently omitting salient facts of story, and so on. But I think the media completely jumping the shark and abandoning all pretense of objective journalism can be traced back to 2008 when Obama ran for office. Wish I kept sauce for it, but ABC or NBC even had office space for Obama campaign staff to "advise" the network on how to present their candidate.
