I suspect there is going to be someone thrust into the fray in an attempt to split the vote in November '24... if there are elections held at all for an indeterminate time while under martial law. Every option at [their] disposal is "on the table". Whatever the plan, there is a contingency on both sides. [They] have been playing this game for a very long time and will not go easily to [their] demise. To believe otherwise is bordering on delusion.

[They] would Ukraine us just as easily as is currently being foisted on those people. Most of them could care less if Bandera Nazis or Russian Orthadoxy flies their flag... they are like us I suspect... they just want to be left alone to live as they see fit. The question is when will they rise up against those who have shown their true self in the region. Russia has been as gentle in their actions as it is possible to be to this point. To think that a country the size of Russia has not learned the fine art of defending itself for over a thousand years of its existence.... in all it forms, the borders have remained pretty solid in that time through many many generations of its people governed by different monarchs and ideologies.
