Some are true believers, but most are brainwashed, like my liberal mom. We can have a civil argument up to and when certain words or phrases are used and it's like a trigger. Her eyes dilate and she begins using MSM talking points and name calling. Although unfortunate, it's actually quite fascinating to watch. It's taken me years to break through but at least I'm at the point when she starts questioning her reality, she will call me first.
