Any returning nurse should demand a much higher wage for their services, to offset any debts and inconveniences caused by their being fired in the first place. Plus a written guarantee that they will not be subjected to new vaccine mandates in the future.
Do this to me and my family and there is no amount to bring me back.
$125,000 MINIMUM (if more than 5 years experience) for a 36 hour week, plus full benefits and guaranteed nurse:patient ratios or double time when not met. 3-4 weeks vacation to start with increases yearly per year employed. No mandatory over time or on call. Double time if working over 36 hours, triple time if working overtime on holidays. Either fulfill these demands or whistle Dixie. Meet our demands, or go pound sand!
If they all stick together, they might just be able to negotiate such a compensation package.
Exactly. However, most of the nurses I worked with were robots. A small handful were good, the rest were very lazy. Most followed hospital dictates.
