I think the term Directed Energy Weapon came from my wife’s stare when I parachute into enemy lines wearing their uniform. It helps to practice slightly feminizing your voice, I’m older so I don’t need to do that annoying “up talking” thing. I have to say since Sound of Freedom she’s pretty much upgraded me to “license to kill”.
