It is not a free choice if you would lose your job and the ability to feed your family.

That is exactly the "choice" that people under totalitarianism [Nazi, Communist] faced:

COMPLY or you will not be able to feed your family! BTW you may also be jailed or sent to the KZ or Gulag.

That is the most hideous aspect of totalitarians: placing an individual in a crisis of conscience: violate your conscience! or you cannot earn a living for your family. That burden on the conscience of ordinary people is EVIL. NO person should be placed in that situation, to violate conscience so that family can actually eat!

It is a false choice. THAT is the EVIL imposed by tyrants.
