An angry crowd attacked Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, who was aboard an open-top car in the town of San Félix. The crowd began to throw stones and objects at the dictator and his safety while calling him "damn!" Maduro was protected by his bodyguards, who surrounded him so that no stone would hit him or suffer any aggression. Even so, the Bolivarian leader had to cover his head to avoid being hit.
The Venezuelan television that broadcast the event picked up the images of the attack. However, just at the moment Maduro is seen semi-crouching and protecting himself with his hands, the transmission is interrupted.
At the time of the attack, the president of Venezuela was celebrating, together with all the Venezuelan "officialism", the 200th anniversary of the battle of San Félix in the town of the same name that belongs to the Caronà municipality in the state of BolÃvar.
It is not the first time that Nicolás Maduro has suffered an attempted attack by his own people who are demanding justice and better conditions for his country. The tyrant suffered an attempted attack during a military parade on August 4, 2018 in Caracas. The Chavista regime took advantage of this situation to settle accounts with the opponents of the Government. As a result, an Army general, Alejandro Pérez Gámez, was arrested, as well as Colonel Pedro Javier Zambrano Hernández and deputy Juan Requesens, arrested without a warrant by Sebin (Chavismo's political police).
However, the tyrannical regime of Maduro has also tried to attack President Juan Guaidó, leader of the opposition to Chavismo, when he was visiting the city of Cojedes last June. The Caribbean politician was brutally beaten along with militants from his party (Voluntad Popular) by a horde of loyalists to the regime.
