Does anyone know of an article that talks about how the DC staffers are basically a deep state because of the way they influence elected officials but can't be voted out themselves because they're all civil service workers?
There was an article I read just after the 2020 election where some big corporate news website was bragging about how the deep state wasn't a conspiracy theory because they prevented Trump from winning and it explained how the deep state was basically all the staff that stays between administrations to provide "stability".
I know this is technically explained as the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978, among others, but I'm specifically looking for the crazy article that bragged about it being a great thing how some un-elected people decide what's best for us and we should all be grateful for it.
