I lived in NM for many years. It's one of the most beautiful states in the country. It almost feels like a different country altogether, a cross between Old Mexico and the American West and an alien landscape. It's surreal at times. And the food is the best you can find. I loved living there...until I didn't.
The state attracts the scum of the earth and its politicians are some of the worst on the planet. There's a reason Epstein put his ranch right next to Santa Fe where this bitch sits on her throne. When Covid happened and she took every opportunity to put the squeeze on her peasants, that's when I decided to leave for good. NM had some of the tightest Covid restrictions in the country, but no one heard much about it because no one cares about NM. I'm glad for NM's people that this little wannabe tyrant has shown the world what's really happening there and who she really is. After participating in MANY Trump rallies and Trump trains in Albuquerque and Santa Fe before the 2020 election, I can promise you that NM did not vote blue. Michelle Grisham needs to be thrown out on her ass, put in prison, and the votes need to be recounted.
You speak a TON of truth here...and I'm sorry you had to leave your native state. My wife and I just took a two-week cross-country trip to Grand Canyon, where we spent a good amount of time in NM, including Santa Fe and ABQ. As one who grew up in the beautiful northcentral mountains of PA, and who's lived the past 30 years in between the beautiful eastern beaches and western mountains of VA....NM is hands-down one of the most BEAUTIFUL states we've ever visited in the U.S. My heart goes out to NM and its people, though, due to their shit-for-brains liberal leadership. My wife and I were astounded at the amount of homelessness and poverty that we saw on display throughout NM, and quite frankly AZ. Again...I'm sorry you had to leave your beautiful native state!
Just returned from SWNM from a fam reunion. I'm running out of pity for the poor die-hards that just join the lazy ways and... survive? Left 6 yrs ago. To sum it up, "Hey Ho Where Did You Go, Ohio"
