Absolutely 💯 They reinstated some accounts but not everyone. They let some discussions happen enough to where people are like, "oh X is free speech now. But, they still censor. OP's video for example. Like that shit didn't happen?
Nope. Let's firstly recognize that we're in a war.
If Musk is actually attempting to build twitter/X into a middle-ground public square place, it's going to take time and its going to have to be strategic.
What happened here?
OP got locked out "for a bit". He didn't get banned, He didn't lose his account. Seems pretty clear this is simply an algorithm kicking in and then quickly taken care of.
Just as you don't dismantle a millennia-old satanic death cult in 4 years (as many Q patriots were expecting, frankly), you don't dismantle a decades-old DARPA blackhat operation in a year or 18 months.
Twitter is a work in process. I'd agree that it's not a bastion of free speech YET. Yet. But the shift that Musk's acquisition of Twitter has made is epoch-reaching.
Many ARE on twitter, many high quality red pillers that are making a difference.
The following is one example. When I saw this via Kanekoa';s telegram feed today, I thought this is what people need to see. Look at the audience. These are people that anons could barely ever reach, except in a tiny fraction of their number. But these are the people, millions and millions, that Musk (and X is part of that) is reaching.
Just like folks who rant "Do all the arrests! What is taking so long? Do it! Now!", we need to temper our expectations and understand the massive strategic nature of the whole war, and evaluate or engage with things in terms of the net positives or net negatives, instead of ideal situations we'd like to instantly happen.
No disrespect to Op or to you, chainlink, but that's how I see it. Any social platform, let alone one that's serving billions, is going to need algos. (Compare with TRUTH, for example).
Great. Now can we stop pretending X is a bastion of free speech now?
