Isn't it amazing that in 1930, when War of the Worlds was a radio show and its broadcast, again, on RADIO, no visuals...the populace lost their collective minds and panicked and tried to escape, causing traffic jams and chaos.

Now? First, they tell us they have alien spacecraft and we all just look at them benignly, eyes slowly blinking, expressionless. Today they are really going to knock us over with BODIES!!!!!!! We all just lazily look at them and yawn.

Them: "What's it gonna TAKE?"
