For example, why didn't Sweden lockdown during COVID? In the years prior, the country had a huge conformist culture for wokism, just like San Francisco.
And why did Japan hardly do lockdowns? Why were they able to speak strongly against forced vaccination?
Same for Italy. How did their populist prime minister get elected?
In Sweden there are some laws that can’t be changed easily. There need to be one government deciding on the change and then the next government makes it final.
One of those laws made it impossible to have a full lockdown. There have been talks about the need to change these laws, but if they did they have been awful quiet about it.
It will be interesting to see what happens this time around. The reaction I saw when walking in the first anti-wax demonstration was very interesting. Jaws literally dropped, people always seem to belive there only is one way to think here.
Swedes are the most brainwashed people in the world, more so than people living in totalitarian regimes. They at least know they’re being lied to.
90% of swedes belived Hilary was the best candidate. Now it’s the Ukraine conflict, you can not say that you would prefer Sweden to stay out of it, especially since we’re not even part of NATO yet. You are instantly called a Putinist. Next month it will be something else, it’s a country of NPC’s all beliving they’re experts on every subject since they only read one side of every story, and there is no conflicting facts to consider.
They probably have an ESG-like scoring system for countries. Sweden probably has enough points that they have earned special priveleges.
Good question.
First thing to consider is the nature of the beast which you call WEF. Then compare this to the Wallenberg Family, basically, one of the biggest employers in Sweden.
This is not to say that this family is behind the WEF. I see too many different factions and interests.
Then there is something else: Never mistake sense of community with socialism. Then, looking at the infrastructure ....Good luck locking a country like that down. It is quite feasible in the cities, perhaps, but the rest?
And then there is the culture itself. It is totally different. Imagine a country where access to nature is a basic right. You can see it in the way things are being worked out and implemented, how people cooperate. It is typically not Yankee/British commerce.
It still is a headscratcher why they allowed this mass-immmigration to take place .... which is now being questioned, though the consequences are they simply were in the process of committing suicide on their country and way of life. This thing is so atypical.
They all initially signed that 'save the planet' crap in 1992 thinking it was cool and trendy. Belarus for example had barely existed at that point. Lukashenko's reaction to CONvid 20 years later was genuinely fuck off, I'm not having this. He told us how much he was offered to play along.
