I'm not seeing a big police or military backing of Milei yet, so I'm not sure he's going to be able to break through the current regime's hold. He absolutely has the popular vote, but the riggers have been in place a long time.

Funnily one of the first comments was from a guy claiming he is buddy buddy with military people "accused" of committing crimes, but later he deleted that comment.

My guess is, behind the scenes he has the backing.
