Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
I actually tend to agree with the overall conclusions. To understand why, it is important to put on the Anon glasses (with the financial filter) first.
How do you do this? Always start by asking "Where is the funding coming to this?" and that gives you the answers about anything.
In the case of streaming, do you really believe that Netflix and the rest made millions from their subscription model? Every person I knew who watched Netflix used to share an account with bunch of people.
It is also crucial to keep in mind that, in addition to the cost of creating a hit series, the cost of running the infrastructure required to stream content, at real time, 24/7 to hundreds of thousands of people simultaneously, just from the point of view of the server resources, costs millions.
We can safely conclude that, just like all the other BigTech companies, there was some hidden funding source that sustained this model. Easy to guess what itis based on the outcome - the mass brainwashing of the people. Who would be vested in this? Why of course the Intel crowd as well as the WEF crowd.
I can bet anything that a lot the server infrastructure was actually running on 3 letter agency servers. But ultimately all this funding comes from the central bank fiat currency system fraud.
What we are seeing is a controlled demolition of this financial system, and as the magic money supply starts drying up, you see all kinds of signs. Companies laying off workers. Work from home. Shutting down retail. Go woke, go broke. Defund police, defund retail. etc etc. All these are simply optics for the financial fraud system being dismantled.
If streaming services are finally dying, thats part of this as well.
Cable was funded by ad revenue, which means it was a real economy, not this fraud economy. Once streaming dies, we may return to Cable, or we may return to some other model - but it will be a real economy whic is market driven, and hence the content will reflect the desires of the people rather than brainwashing.
So the only thing I would change with the conclusion is that, even if we dont revert back to "Make cable great again", whatever the new entertainment platforms ae going to be, they will be based platforms. Cable will probably play a big part of it, but there will be reforms made there as well (I am sure before streaming, they had managed to infiltrate Cable to some extent as well and that should be cleaned up).
