kek, although 50 MB/sec doesn't happen with 5g. Typical speeds are like 5 to 10 megabytes per second.
I don't see why it wouldn't. 5-10MBps was quite doable on 4G, prior to the 5G rollout.
I don't have 5g so i haven't tested, but the web says:
"In practical scenarios, the average download speeds on 5G networks often range from 50 megabits per second (Mbps) to several hundred Mbps. These speeds are still considerably faster than most 4G LTE networks."
