I'm fairly optimistic for utilizing blockchain technology for future governments though. It's just a technology, and in the future it could be utilized for accountability and auditing in the government by its constituents.

Obvious things are obvious: this iteration of CBDC is likely not that and likely the opposite. Post Storm is a different scenario.
