For example, the comments she makes around the 11:00 mark, that we've been making payments to Britain and it's responsible for much of our debt. That's the sort of thing I'd need to see a public record of before passing on.
Oddly enough, I can find public examples of loans going the other direction. For instance, here a US loan to Britain that was paid off from WW2 to 2006:
So my questions would be: What public evidence exists that money was borrowed from UK during the civil war? and What public evidence exists that we are/were recently still paying it back?
